      Hi Peter,
      Greetings from Seattle.

I created this forum account to simply thank you for your CubeCell LoRa code samples. (I’m not on LinkedIn)

My LoRa experience thus far has been limited to the Heltec ESP32 dev boards and the Helium LoRaWAN, but ultimately I wanted to deploy smaller boards (no OLED, WiFi or BLE) and I really needed something like the CubeCell which seems perfect for batt / solar use. So I bought one and started trying to figure out how to make it work as a simple transmitter that didn’t connect to a WAN. (I created my own gateway using the ESP32 board – that was easy)

Then I became (more) bald from pulling out all my hair trying to find code samples which aren’t WAN related, and, so far as I know, there are none on the internet other than yours. FWIW I’m self-taught at cpp.

You saved me sir, and for that I’m very grateful. Additionally, I really respect the way you’ve structured your code; it’s extremely flexible.

If I can ever do anything for you from here please reach out.
In the meantime, smile and stay safe.

I’m glad to hear that I was able to help. I am still in the process of testing a range of MCUs but the CubeCell is certainly a very nice little unit. I have not been able to match its solar panel/battery management capabilities with anything else I’ve done so far. The immaturity of its supporting software, however, is still a bit of a challenge. But it is improving…

Hi, greetings from Cornellà de Llobregat (Spain). I appreciate very much the information and files posted on your website as well as the time you have taken to post and organize them. They will save me quite a lot of time on my post-retirement developments.

      Best regards

      Joan

Once again, I’m happy to have been able to help. As you seem to have discovered, documentation on the Heltec products, for example, is pretty scarce. But there are people out there who can help, if you can just work out the right questions to ask… 🤔
