OLED-Pi Board Assembly
While they take up a little more board real estate, I use right-angle headers to mount the OLED display to minimise the head room used.
The OLED-Pi PCB includes two M2.5 holes that align with those on the Pi Zero, so that M2.5 × 11mm standoffs can be used to provide additional support for the board. I prefer to use nylon standoffs to eliminate any possibility of electrical connection between boards.
If you're very careful and solder the 4P headers [on the hat and the display] in just the right place, these holes also align with those on the OLED display, so that it too can be fixed in place if need be. To do this, use M2 standoffs with an 11mm threaded post between the Pi Zero and the OLED-Pi hat and a 3mm spacer between the hat and the display. Fix these together using a 4-5mm screw through the Pi Zero and a 10mm screw through the display and spacer.
