Boost Converters

While my applications are generally [Li-Ion] battery powered, and based on 3.3V processors, some sensors require higher supply voltages, typically 5V or 12~24V.
I used the readily available MT3608 boost converter module in my initial prototyping work but ultimately wanted something more compact to use in my applications.
The first step was to simply translate the MT3608 module circuit onto my application PCBs. I then discovered a more compact design for a 5V boost converter based on the FP6277 IC and thereafter another module based on the SX1308 IC. This then led to the present boost converter daughter boards, with the idea that, rather than including the required circuitry in every board design, I could just include a generic header and plug in an appropriate boost converter daughter board as required.
Additional discussion in relation to these boost converters is provided on the associated Hardware Peripherals page.
